Kirsty has a passion for travel and completed her 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica with the amazing Liz Lindh. The local philosophy is Pura Vida (Pure Life in Spanish) which is used as a greeting and a description for a unique way of living. Pura Vida became Kirsty’s mantra teaching throughout Latin America, naturally fitting into her yoga practice both on and off the mat. This evolved into Pura Aura, the merging of a lifestyle with energy.

Kirsty is also a certified Yin Teacher, training with Truth Robinson. She is constantly inspired by her own teachers and had the pleasure of attending Annie Carpenter's Masterclasses from SmartFlow Yoga USA.

She is currently studying her 300hr teacher training at Om Yoga Studio, guided by the dream team Sandey Hoskin and Kylie Rook. Kirsty has one module left before becoming 500 hours registered.

Yoga for mental health and wellness is a key aspect Kirsty focuses on with her teachings and personal practice and the physical benefits that follow are a welcomed addition.  The more she learns the more she wishes to share.

With her career as a super-yacht stewardess taking her all over the world, finding balance on the mat mentally, emotionally and physically is key for her transient lifestyle.

Kirsty's classes focus on moving in a mindful and meditative way- the breath, body and mind syncing together. "Anybody can breathe. Therefore anybody can practice yoga." - T.K.V. Desikachar

She has bought her practice home to Auckland, New Zealand after teaching in Latin America and Europe. She is available for freelance classes, tailored to you.

Kirsty is first aid trained and a Registered Exercise Professional in NZ.
